Social value weighting checker
Central government buyers must give social value at least 10% of the marks in above-threshold tenders started from 1 October 2025. Check a tender against that, and see what each social value mark is worth to your bid.
This meets the 10% minimum.
Social value is 10% of the total score. PPN 002 asks for at least 10%; if a tender seems to fall short, you can raise it as a clarification question.
How this is worked out
- What your mark is worth
- 10% × 3 / 5 = 6 points out of 100
- Each extra mark
- 2 points
